This kind of dinnerware, in the Indigo Moon pattern, is near the top of my permanent shopping list. I found a little bit more today.
Four saucers might not seem like a lot, but I usually find loose cups without them, and I want all the pieces I can find, if the condition and price are right.
Indigo Moon is vintage 1960s china. I like the clean, modern shapes and stylized blue floral motif. It's high quality porcelain dinnerware, made in Japan.
I've been collecting this pattern for years. Eventually I'll have a service for two or four, with enough serving pieces to make sense of it.
Meanwhile, I use the pieces I have for a special snack or dessert. One plate might even get displayed on my wall while I'm not using it for anything else.
There are lots of vintage goods out there in secondary marketplaces. Prices are "soft" for old dishes and glassware.
Modern patterns like this one seem to be the only ones to hold much value. I collect this because I like it and want to use it.
And it makes me happy when I find some!

Your patience was rewarded, how nice to find the elusive saucers. I wish I didn’t love old dishes, but I do…
So many dishes to love, too! Thanks for stopping by
I have come across some of these Indigio Moon pieces. If you are interested.
Hello Cheryl!
You might look into Facebook Marketplaces, if you’re on there. Haven’t used it myself, but I’ve heard some people have had good results. Thanks for stopping by!
