Specialty dishes can pop up almost anywhere, and find their way into your collection.
These charming salad or dessert plates from Crate & Barrel came to me just like that. Someone may have used them for Valentine's Day, or maybe a birthday treat, and then they moved on before I found them.
These are the kinds of dishes that are made for special occasions, and most piece types are not available. The kind of decoration applied to them is put on top of the glaze, and I don't recommend any harsh cleaning methods if you want to keep yours looking sweet.
